ORLANDO, FL – The Arnold Palmer Invitational (formerly the Bay Hill Invitational) presented by MasterCard has named Scott Reid the Director of Sales & Marketing of the prestigious Orlando based world renowned tournament.
The announcement was made by Scott Wellington, tournament director of the 29 year-old PGA TOUR event.
In his position, Reid is responsible for overseeing the corporate sponsorship sales, the marketing of the event and community relations efforts.
Reid comes to the Arnold Palmer Invitational with an extensive background in golf and event management over the past 13 years. Prior to joining the Arnold Palmer Invitational, he served as Director of Marketing for the Southwest Section of the PGA of America.

The Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard, will be hosting the PGA TOUR's greats from March 12-18, 2007 at the Bay Hill Club in Orlando, Florida. Past Champions have included four-time champion Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Ernie Els and defending champion Rod Pampling. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Arnold Palmer Medical Center Foundation.
