Arnie’s March Against Children’s Cancer

Arnie's March began in 2012 by two moms Geri Goldstein and Karen Leonard who both had daughters battling cancer at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. With a desire to keep funds local and help ensure families in our community could receive the treatment and support they needed close to home when fighting cancer, these two moms helped kick off Arnie's March. In six years, the march has raised more than $900,000 for cancer research at Arnold Palmer Hospital.

APPROXIMATELY 46 CHILDREN WILL BE DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER TODAY 

Because these kids need our help. Because the children treated at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children deserve the best care close to home. And through Arnie's March, you can help support the cancer research and clinical trial program at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and keep kids and their families together as they battle this awful disease.

By supporting Arnie’s March, you play a part in making sure children and families who are battling cancer can stay in Central Florida and receive treatment at Arnold Palmer Hospital. There are a variety of ways you can support these efforts including starting your own fundraising team, joining an existing team or by donating to an individual or team.  We will celebrate the fundraising efforts at our annual Arnie’s March celebration and reunion in March of 2020.   Location: Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge, 9000 Bay Hill Boulevard Orlando, FL 32819  
• Registration and pre-event activities will begin at 3 p.m. 
• Activities, food and beverages from sponsors and partners will be available after the one-mile march. 
• The route for the March will be exactly one mile around several holes and the clubhouse at Bay Hill. While most of the walking will be done on a concrete golf cart path, a portion of the route (approximately 1/10 of a mile) will require marchers to traverse grassy golf course conditions. Those who believe they are unable to walk this distance or walk on this terrain may remain in the staging area during the actual march.
